Dautova Gulnaz, PhD, acting associate professor of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory. G. Dautova has more than 40 scientific publications, over the past 5 years she has participated in 9 scientific conferences and forums of various levels (Almaty, Astana, Bishkek, Sheffield, Ankara, UFA). And also, in the journals included in the list of KOKSON MES RK philological series - 13, foreign publications included in the database Scopus - 2 (h-index -2, Google Scholar -1), collective anthology - 1, methodological guidelines-1, collective monograph-1. In 2014, she graduated from the Masters degree and in the same year entered the specialty 6D021400-Literary Studies under the PhD doctoral integration program together with the M. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art. In 2017, she completed her doctoral studies in folklore studies, successfully defended her dissertation on The image of the hero-defender in the Turkic epic (genesis and typology) and received a PhD degree. Gulnaz Dautova continued her research work on the folklore of the Turkic peoples in 2019 as part of the postdoctoral program at Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University and received a postdoctoral certificate. In 2020, the winner of a scholarship for talented young scientists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. G. Dautova completed a scientific internship at the University of Granada, Spain, Gazi University, Antalya Bilim University of Turkey. G. Dautova in 2015-2017 participated in the grant project "Kazakh art in the aspect of common Turkic cultural traditions", in 2018-2020 in the framework of the grant scientific project "Traditional national education (national code) and spiritual heritage (based on the materials of Kazakh folklore and literature)". The object of the research is the typology of the system of characters in the epics of the Turkic and Mongolian peoples, post-folklore, Internet folklore, ritual folklore. She explores one of the most pressing problems of folklore theory - the image of an epic hero in accordance with modern requirements, complex, systematic, in a broad sense comparative, historical and typological. In her research, G. Dautova draws attention to the evolutionary changes in the image of the hero, comparing the image of the guardian hero in the epics of the Turkic peoples, starting with the ancient epics, with the images of the hero in heroic, historical epics.
