Madiyeva Gulmira Bayanzhanovna was born on January 21 1958 in Almaty. Graduated from the philological faculty of the Abay KazPI by profession Russian language teacher and literature (1979). After graduation worked in the direction of Chalkudinsky SPTU- 119 Narynkol district of Almaty region (1979-1982). From 1987 to 1990, she was trained in full-time postgraduate course of The Kirov state University (al-Farabi Kazakh National University). She defended her PhD thesis on the topic "Hydronyms in East Kazakhstan" with a degree 10.02.02-Kazakh language (1990). Madiyeva G.B. passed advanced training in the doctorates of al-Farabi Kazakh National University (2002-2005). December 19, 2005 it successfully defended the doctoral program dissertation on "Onomastic space modern Kazakhstan: structure, semantics, precedency, lemmatization", specialty 10.02.19-language theory. After completing her post-graduate studies, she worked in the following positions scientific, then senior research associate Baitursynov Institute of linguistics of the national Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan (1991-1995). Since 1996 he has been working at the Department of General linguistics in positions of senior teacher, associate Professor-with 1997, Professor - since 2007, since 2009-2021 head Department of Departments of General Linguistics and European Language. Since September 2021 - Professor of the Department of Turkology and Language. The range of scientific interests of G. B. Madieva is represented by problems of onomastics theory, General linguistics, questions of lexicography. Under her scientific guidance prepared by 1 doctor of Philology, 8 candidates of philological Sciences, 6 doctors PhD philosophy. G.B. Madieva published more than 200 scientific papers works, including 4 monographs, 3 educational manuals, 6 textbooks, 8 methodical recommendations, 2 reference dictionaries. G.B. Madieva is the owner of a number of grants: Soros Foundation- Kazakhstan (1998), INTAS, Russian Foundation Mir ( 2008), foreign trade Committee Republic of Turkey (2007), Committee on languages Ministry of culture and information of the RK in the framework of the budget program 005 "Development of the state language and languages of peoples Kazakhstan" (2007), Erasmus Mundus (2013). She was awarded the title "Best teacher of the University - 2008, 2014». She is an honorary professor of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University, Taraz Innovation and Humanities University.
