I, Aidos Omarov, am a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a resident of the city of Almaty. From 2007 to 2011, I studied at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, majoring in Geodesy and Cartography, and obtained a Bachelor’s degree. From 2013 to 2015, I continued my studies at the same university in the Master’s program in Geography, where I was awarded a Master’s degree in Geographical Sciences. Since March 2011, I have been working as a Researcher at the Institute of Geography of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Department of Landscape Studies and Problems of Nature Management. My research activities focus on the assessment of agricultural landscapes, evaluation of natural resource potential, and spatial–temporal analysis of soil, agroclimatic, and water resources. From 2024 to 2027, I am pursuing a PhD degree in Geography. The results of my research have been published in national and international scientific journals. In particular, I am the author and co-author of several scientific articles devoted to the assessment of soil, agroclimatic, and water resources of agricultural landscapes in the Turkestan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2026, my scientific work on the theoretical and methodological foundations for assessing the natural resource potential of agricultural landscapes was published as a preprint. I actively continue to develop my scientific career and participate in international scientific cooperation and applied research.
