Aizhan Mussagaliyeva in 2004 entered the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Ecology, which she graduated in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, she studied at the university- wide magistracy of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, specializing in Ecology. In September 2011, she entered the PhD at the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, specializing in "6D060900-Geography". On December 11, 2015, Mussagaliyeva A.N. successfully defended her doctoral dissertation. on the topic "Geographical bases for assessing and managing the ecological state of the territories of oil and gas development of the Caspian region (on the example of Atyrau region)". In 2016 Aizhan Mussagaliyeva was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Mussagaliyeva A.N. has more than 30 scientific papers, including 5 publications in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Has experience in research projects. In 2018 Mussagaliyeva A.N. was accepted as a senior lecturer at the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management. Mussagaliyeva A.N. teaches in Kazakh, Russian and English to undergraduate, graduate and PhD students in the following disciplines: biogeography, geobotanical surveys, land monitoring and agroecology, land monitoring using remote sensing, theoretical and methodological problems of geography, environmental and economic assessment of land resources, landscape and ecological design in land use, theoretical and methodological foundations of land use regulation, geospatial environmental management, landscape and ecological design, urban geosystems of the region: landscape structure, typology, land use optimization, environmental safety as a basis for sustainable development. Since 2020, she has been the Deputy Head for Scientific and Innovation Activities and International Relations of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre of Al- Farabi Kazakh National University.
