Almagul Aldibekova, PhD, was born on August 15, 1983, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 2005, she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Biology, Department of Ecology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. From 2006 to 2008, she completed her Master’s studies with honors at the Department of General University Ecology at the same university. From 2019 to 2022, she pursued doctoral studies at the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and successfully defended her dissertation in 2024, earning the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). A.R. Aldibekova focuses on the study of rare and endangered plant species of significant importance for Kazakhstan. She collaborates with Turkish scientists (Prof. Ahmet Aksoy, Akdeniz University, Antalya) conducting anatomical, morphological, and phytochemical research. The results of these studies have been published as joint scientific articles in high-impact international journals.
