Gulzada Kazhigereevna Nurgaliyeva Cardiologist of the highest category Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Disciplines Dr. Nurgaliyeva began her medical career in 1978, working as a district general practitioner at Polyclinic No. 2 of City Clinical Hospital No. 4 in Karaganda. During her years in practical healthcare, she received multiple letters of appreciation. From 1981 to 1983, she completed a two-year clinical residency in Therapy at the Karaganda State Medical Institute. From 1983 to 1988, she worked as a resident physician at the Regional Cardiology Dispensary in Karaganda. In November 1988, she successfully competed for the position of Junior Research Fellow. Since 1991, she served as a Research Fellow in the Department of Ischemic Heart Disease at the Institute of Cardiology, and from 1997, she also held the position of Head of the Acute Coronary Insufficiency Unit. In 2001, following a successful competition, she was appointed Head of the Department of Emergency Cardiology and Therapy. She defended her Candidate’s Dissertation in 1994 and her Doctoral Dissertation in 2005. She is the author of over 120 published works, including 2 monographs and 12 methodological guidelines. Due to her diligence and responsibility, she has earned great respect among her colleagues. Her scientific work experience dates back to 1983, and her total medical experience since 1978. In 2001, she was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the “Doctor of the Year” category. In 2005, her doctoral dissertation was recognized as one of the best works of the year by the Committee for Supervision and Attestation in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
