Autobiography

Duzbayeva Saltanat Bekbolatkyzy was born on December 26, 1988, in Kulsary, Atyrau region, of Kazakh ethnicity. From 2006 to 2010, Duzbayeva Saltanat Bekbolatkyzy completed her bachelor's studies; from 2010 to 2012, she pursued her master's degree (scientific and pedagogical track); and from 2016 to 2018, she studied in the doctoral program at the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, majoring in “Jurisprudence.” In 2023, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. In 2012, she was appointed as an assistant; in 2013, as a lecturer; in 2016, as a senior lecturer; and in 2019, she became Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Criminalistics of the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Since 2020, she has been serving as Deputy Head for Scientific and Innovative Activities and International Relations of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Criminalistics, Faculty of Law. Duzbayeva S.B. has published more than 40 scientific works, including 4 articles in peer- reviewed journals indexed in the Social Science Citation Index, Arts and Humanities Citation Index and/or Russian Science Citation Index of the Web of Science database, as well as a monograph. Her h-index is 2. Actively engaged in scientific research, Duzbayeva S.B. served as the principal researcher for the grant project AP14872079 “Victimological Problems of Preventing Domestic Violence,” and was also a winner of the grant competition for fundamental and applied research for young scientists – postdoctoral fellows under the “Zhas Galym” project. English proficiency level – Intermediate. Since 2014, she has been the head of the student scientific club “Mediator.” She also serves as a curator–advisor for master’s and doctoral students of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Criminalistics.
