Biography I, Kairat Kaipolla, was born on January 24, 1985, in Kulboyi village, Barkol district, People’s Republic of China. My native language is Kazakh. Additionally, I am fluent in Chinese, Turkish, and German. Education •September 1992 – Enrolled in Grade 1 at Kazykhu School, Kulboyi village, Barkol district. •1998 – Completed Grade 6 at the same school. •September 1998 – Continued my studies in Grade 7 at the Kulboyi Village Central School of Oil Industry. Graduated from Grade 9 in 2001. •September 2001 – Enrolled in Grade 10 at Kumul Regional No. 3 High School. Graduated with honors in 2004. •September 2004 – Admitted to the Central University for Nationalities in Beijing, majoring in Kazakh Language and Literature. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree with distinction in 2009. Academic and Professional Experience •2008–2009 – Worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Kazakh Language and Literature, Central University for Nationalities. •2009–2015 – Pursued advanced studies at the Free University of Berlin, Germany. •2012–2013 – Served as a lecturer at the Department of Kazakhstan and Kazakh Language, Institute of Central Asia and African Studies, Humboldt University, Germany. •2015–2017 – Obtained a master’s degree in economics from the Academy of Labor and Social Relations in Kazakhstan. Work Experience •June 2017 – January 2018 – Expert, translator, and proofreader at the Xinjiang Science and Technology Newspaper, Urumqi, PRC. •January 2018 – June 2023 – Worked as a translator, expert, and editor at the Xinjiang Radio, Film, and Television Translation Center. Current Position •Since September 1, 2023 – Doctoral student in Oriental Studies at the Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. •Starting September 1, 2024 – Lecturer at the Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
