Autobiography

Autobiography My name is Ulzhan Askarbaykyzy Tungatova. I was born on November 20, 1982, in Zholaman village, Almaty region, Kazakhstan. In 1999, I entered Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Philosophy, and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree. I completed my Master’s degree in 2005 and earned my PhD in Philosophy in 2023 after completing doctoral studies from 2017 to 2020. My professional career began in 2005 at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, at the Department of Philosophy and Methodology of Science. Over the years, I have worked as a specialist, senior specialist, assistant lecturer, lecturer, and senior lecturer at the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies. Since 2024, I have been leading the project “Zhas Galym” (AP22685041) titled “Socio-psychological aspects of religious education in fostering tolerance in secondary and vocational education institutions.” I am fluent in Russian and have working knowledge of English. I am married and a mother of three children.
