Sakypbek Mereke Amanzholkyzy is a Senior Lecturer and researcher specializing in sustainable tourism development, ecotourism, and tourism management in protected natural areas. She has more than 13 years of experience in teaching, research, and analytical work within the higher education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She is a graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Tourism. Her research focuses on the sustainable development of national parks, assessment of recreational carrying capacity, tourism pressure, and mitigation of anthropogenic impacts. She has participated in state-funded research projects related to sustainable management of tourism and recreational resources. In her academic work, she follows an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented approach, emphasizing the development of analytical and critical thinking skills among students.
