Zainiyeva Lilia Yusupovna is a candidate of Historical Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of Political Science, Academician of the Main Economic Academy. She graduated with honors from the History Department of S. M. Kirov KazSU in 1971, and she completed postgraduate studies at the Komsomol Higher School under the Central Committee of the Komsomol in Moscow in 1974-1977. She worked in the Komsomol-party bodies, the Institute of Party History under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, the State Committee for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KazNTU named after K. I. Satpayev. Since 2017, she has been working as a professor at the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Research interests: youth development, youth policy, first of all, state policy towards youth, international experience in its implementation, as well as some issues of the formation of political science and the activities of the APK. 250 scientific and educational publications in Kazakh, Russian and English have been published in Kazakhstan, Russia, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Sweden and other countries. Among the publications are individual ("State youth Policy: Kazakhstan in the context of world experience" in Russian and Kazakh) and collective monographs, scientific articles in various journals and conference materials. Four articles were published in publications included in the Scopus database, 42-in publications recommended by the certification body of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Conducts scientific work with doctoral students, undergraduates and bachelors. In 2023-2025, two bachelors became prize-winners of the International Competition for Young Scientists "Lomonosov", held by the International Center for Scientific Cooperation "Science and Education" (Russia), one student received a 1st degree diploma in the section "Political Sciences" of the X International Scientific and Practical Conference "Student Scientific Forum 2024" (Russia). Two bachelors took second and third places in the Republican contest of research papers of students in political science of higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
