Tursumbayeva M.O. received a Bachelor of Science degree in "Hydrometeorology" in 2012 from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. From 2015 to 2017, she received Master's degree in "Environmental Science" from Iowa State University. In 2024, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled "The Effect of Meteorological Parameters on Air Quality in Large Cities of Kazakhstan." Tursumbayeva M.O. is a lecturer in meteorology and environmental science, teaching courses and conducting laboratory sessions on "Atmospheric Remote Sensing" and "Available Potential of Alternative Energy Sources." She is the author of 9 publications indexed in Scopus, 6 of which are in the first and second quartiles. Her H-index is 5. In 2023, Tursumbayeva M.O. was recognized as the best young scientist at KazNU and was ranked among the top 10 young scientists of the university. Currently, she is the project leader of the "Zhas Galym" project for 2024-2026 AP22686414 titled "Study of the Impact of Meteorological Factors on PM2.5 Concentrations in Almaty and Analysis of Air Pollution Transport Using the WRF-CHIMERE Model."
