Autobiography

Zhanat Zakieva, Ph.D. in economics, veteran of the diplomatic service of Kazakhstan. A total experience of civil service is 20 years, including 18 years of diplomatic work in the MFA of Kazakhstan (1997-2014). General scientific and pedagogical experience is 10 years. In 1992- 96 worked at the MFA RK. In 1995 studied at the Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia). In 1996, worked as a researcher at the Australian Embassy in Kazakhstan. In 1997-2014 worked at the MFA of Kazakhstan. In 1998-99 studied at the University of Oxford. In 2016-17 worked as the head of the KISS under the President of Kazakhstan. In 2017-18 worked as an assistant professor at Narxoz University. In 2018-21 worked as the head of the department, associate professor at ISK, Abai University. In 2021 started work at al-Farabi University, at FMO. Author of 5 monographs and over 100 scientific articles, including a number of articles (KKSON, Scopus, WoS, e-library). Fluent in Russian, English, French. Kazakh language is native.
