Otynshieva Aidana Aitukyzy - PhD, Senior Lecturer of the Department of International Law, Faculty of International Relations, Al- Farabi Kazakh National University, two-time graduate of the Bolashak program. In 2013, she graduated from the Law School of Newcastle University, UK, with a degree in International Business Law under the Bolashak program. She was awarded the medal "Best Young Scientist 2021" of the CIS for her contribution to the development of science and education (National Movement "Bobek"). She was awarded the jubilee medal "Al-Farabi Atyndagy Kazakh Ulttyk University - 80 Years" for her contribution to the development of the university. In 2016, she completed a scientific internship at Middlesex University in London under the supervision of Professor J. Castellino. As part of the Bolashak scholarship, in 2021-2022 she completed an internship as a visiting research fellow at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pennsylvania in the USA under the supervision of Professor S. Barnes. Otynshieva A.A. gives lectures to students, masters and doctoral students studying in English groups in the specialty of international law, actively participates in the public works of the faculty and department, constantly improves her professional level by participating in international and national conferences, seminars and round tables with reports. She gave reports in English on the protection of human rights at conferences held at the universities of Bishkek, Gaziantep, Newcastle, London, State College and Le Havre. Regularly prepares students and graduate students for scientific conferences. In the first half of 2024, she won a postdoctoral mobility fellowship for postdoctoral students from Central Asia under the Atlas program, funded by the Foundation for Humanitarian Sciences (FMSH) and the French Institute for Central Asian Studies (IFEAC). In September-October 2024, she completed a postdoctoral program at the University of Le Havre in France under the supervision of Professor P. Chabal and published an article “Human Rights Protection Mechanisms in the Republic of Kazakhstan at the present stage: Problems, Current State and Ways of Improvement”. She has more than 50 scientific and educational publications in SCOPUS, Web of Science database journals, including more than 30 abroad (Great Britain, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, France, USA, etc.). She has international certificates from Elsevier, Coursera, Future Learn and IELTS.
