Laila Dyusengalievna Nurseitova was born on September 30, 1982, in the village of Taskesken, Urzhar District, Semipalatinsk Region. She received her primary education in the village of Karakol. In 1989, together with her parents, she moved from Karakol village in the Urzhar District to the city of Almaty, currently the Nauryzbai District. In 1999, she graduated with honors from the Kazakh Secondary School named after B. Sokpakbaev in the Nauryzbai District. In the same year, she was admitted to the Department of Japanese Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which she successfully completed with honors in 2004. In 2004, Laila Dyusengalievna Nurseitova graduated from the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Oriental Studies – Historian, Translator-Referent. In 2008, she entered the master’s program at the Faculty of Oriental Studies and successfully completed it with honors in 2011, majoring in Oriental Studies. In 2008, she completed a research internship at Waseda University (Japan). From 2009 to 2010, she was awarded a scholarship under the program of the Ministry of Education of Japan for students from Central Asia and spent one academic year at the University of Tsukuba, where she attended lectures in Japanese and English on the Japanese language, history, culture, and economy. In 2012, she received a grant from The Japan Foundation and completed a six-month advanced training program at the Japanese-Language Institute in Urawa, Japan, aimed at enhancing teaching qualifications in Japanese language instruction. From 2016 to 2019, she participated in the implementation of the Grassroots Grant Assistance (Kusa no ne) social program organized by the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2023, she was admitted to the doctoral program in 8D02209 – Oriental Studies. In April 2025, she completed a one-month research internship at the University of Tsukuba (Japan). Since 2007, Laila Dyusengalievna Nurseitova has been engaged in teaching activities, delivering courses on Basic Japanese, Lexicology of the Studied Language, Professional Oriental Language, Theory of Translation, Business Oriental Language, History of the Country of the Studied Language, and other related disciplines.
