Autobiography

He was born in 1963 in Shilozek village of Tekesaudan, Xinjiang region of the People's Republic of China. In 1987, he graduated from the Central Nationalities University in Beijing, majoring in translation and philology. From 1987 to 1993, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Literature of the SUAR Academy of Humanitarian Sciences in Urumqi. In 1993, he came to his homeland at the special invitation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Chinese scholar worked as the head of the department of Far Eastern countries at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of KazNU named after Al-Farabi. In 2002-2009, he was the head of the Department of Oriental Studies at L. N. Gumilevat Eurasian National University in Astana. Since 2010, he has been the head of the Chinese language department at the said educational institution. Doctor of philological sciences, professor. Honored Worker of Kazakhstan (2013).
