Kozhakhmetova Umut Kasymzhanovna was
born in the
village of Sumbe, Almaty region.
08/22/1969 After
graduation from the school with a
silver medal,
the geography faculty of KazSU named
after M.Sh.
CM. Kirov. In 1992 she graduated from
the
Geography Department with a degree in
Geography.
In 1992-1997 years. worked as an
engineer at the
Department of Geomorphology of the
Faculty of
Geography of this university. In
1997,
she was
transferred to the position of an
intern-researcher. In 1998 I entered
the full-time
postgraduate department. In 2001,
after graduating
from graduate school, she worked at
the department
as a specialist in category 1. In the
period from
2004 to 2011 worked as a teacher,
since 2011 she
has been working as a senior teacher
of the
Department of Cartography and
Geoinformatics. In
2016, she completed a master's degree
in the
specialty 6M074100-Cartography.
He conducts lecture, seminar and
laboratory
classes at the Kazakh departments of
the
bachelor's degree in the disciplines:
"Fundamentals of geology",
"Fundamentals of
exomorphogenesis", "Ecological
mapping",
"Economics and organization of
cartografic-geodetic production",
"Design and use
of GIS", "GIS in cartography "," GIS
tools ".
The main area of scientific interests
is the
features of the lithology of the
rocks
of Central
Kazakhstan, the paleogeographic
conditions for
their formation.
Published more than 40 scientific
papers, 2
teaching aid, 3 teaching aids (one
manual
translated into Kazakh), 2 monograph.
Participated in the scientific
project
on the
theme "Ecological and
geomorphological
systems of
platform-denudational plains of
mining
regions of
the arid zone of Kazakhstan"
