Arystanova Ranida was born on July 4, 1987, in Taraz, Kazakhstan. In 2005, she graduated
with honors from School-Gymnasium № 49 named after Y. Altynsarin.
In 2005, she was admitted to the Faculty of Geography at Al-Farabi Kazakh National
University (KazNU), specializing in "Geography." She graduated in 2009, earning a Bachelor
of Geography degree.
In 2009, she began her Master's studies at the Faculty of Geography at Al-Farabi Kazakh
National University (KazNU), specializing in "Geography." During her studies, she actively
participated in university life and in scientific student conferences. In 2010, she
completed an internship for her Master's thesis at the Academic U.M. Sultangazin Institute
of Space Research (DTOO).
In February 2011, she was employed as a cartographic engineer in the "Space Monitoring of
Agricultural Production" laboratory at the Academic U.M. Sultangazin Institute of Space
Research (DTОО). In 2015, she was promoted to the position of Research Fellow. Over 3 years,
she participated in research projects and practical studies on various topics. She completed
professional development courses on topics including: "Fundamentals of Creating and
Operating the Ground Target Complex of Remote Sensing Satellites," "Modern Technologies and
Tools for Processing Earth Remote Sensing Data," "Building Geodatabases," and "Fundamentals
of Working with ArcGIS Spatial Analyst."
In 2011, she completed her Master's degree, earning a Master of Natural Sciences degree in
Geography.
From 2011 to 2024, she worked at the National Center for Space Research and Technologies,
accumulating 14 years of professional experience.
Since 2021 to the present day, she has been working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department
of "Cartography and Geoinformatics" at the Faculty of Geography, Al-Farabi Kazakh National
University (KazNU), with 4 years of teaching experience.
In 2024, she enrolled in the first year of the doctoral program, specializing in
"Cartography," in the Department of "Cartography and Geoinformatics" at the Faculty of
Geography, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU). The duration of study is 3 years.
She is the author of 29 works in Kazakhstani and international publications, including one
monograph.
