Kakimzhanov Yerkin, acting Associate Professor PhD in Geography Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakhstan. He has more than 15 years of research experience in the field of remote sensing and GIS technologies in landscape and agrolandscape research, hydrological modeling using space images and geographic information systems in data processing. He is currently researching on the rational use of water resources in agricultural areas of the south-east of Kazakhstan.
