AVTOBIOGRAFII I, Gulzhan Yusupkhanovna Abdugalieva, was born on February 11, 1967 in the village of Gornoye, Markakol district, East Kazakhstan region. Nationality is Kazakh. In 1974, she entered the first grade of Karachilik secondary school in the village of Karachilik, Markakol district of East Kazakhstan region, from which she graduated with a gold medal in 1984. In 1984-1989, she studied at the V.I.Lenin Kazakh Polytechnic Institute at the Mining Faculty, majoring in Surveying, and graduated from the named institute with honors as a mining engineer. From 1994 to 1999, she studied at the Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University with a degree in economics and management. From 2020 to 2022, she studied at the S.Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University with a degree in Life Safety and Environmental Protection. In 1989-1992, she studied full-time at the D.A. Kunaev Institute of Mining. In 2006-2009, she studied for a doctoral degree at the Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I.Satpayev. Information about her work: In the period 06.1993-08.2012 she worked at the D.A.Kunaev Institute of Mining in the laboratory of rock displacement and protection of mine workings in the positions of junior researcher, researcher, head of the laboratory, Almaty. In the period 09.2012-08.2016, she worked at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev at the Department of "Underground Mining of Minerals" in the positions of Associate Professor, Professor, Almaty. In the period 09.2016-08.2022, she worked as a professor at the Department of Geology and Mining of the D.Serikbaev Moscow State Technical University, Ust-Kamenogorsk. In the period 09.2022-08.2025, she worked as a professor at the Department of Ecology and Geography of the S.Amanzholov Moscow State University, Ust-Kamenogorsk. Since 09.2025, I have been working as an associate professor at the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics at Al–Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty.
