Rakysh Zhumashay Sailaukyzy – Director of the Center for Textual and Manuscript Studies at the M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, Candidate of Philological Sciences (2007). In 1992, she graduated from the Philological Faculty of Al- Farabi Kazakh National University. In parallel with the research of folklore heritage, she is engaged in the study of the textual art of verbal mastery. The monograph "The Epic "Kambar Batyr" and its textual history" was published in 2009. Textual works of Zh. Rakysh was included in the collective monograph "Textual folklore" (2009), "Textual literature of the era of Independence" (2012), "Handwritten heritage: the history of collection, publication" (2014), The History of Kazakh folklore: the XVII-early XXI centuries" (2017), "Kazakh textual studies: issues of dating epic works" (2017), "Kazakh textual studies: issues of the main text and attribution" (2022). She is one of the authors of the book "The Kazakh Epic" (2010), the textbook "The Kazakh language" (2015). Zh. Rakysh has also prepared the responsible editor of the "Dictionary of Terms of Kazakh Folklore" (2020), 5 volumes (2019) and 6 volumes (2020) of the ten-volume Anthology of Steppe Folklore. Zh. Rakysh was responsible for releasing from the first volumes and the compiler of ten volumes of the hundred-volume series "Babalar sozi", prepared within the framework of The State program "Cultural Heritage". In 2007, Zh. Rakysh was completed and the 43rd volume of "Kambar Batyr" was prepared for publication. Zh. Rakysh is known as a bibliographer of folklore studies. She compiled the bibliographic index "Kazakh literature, Criticism and Art" together with A.K. Narymbetov and G. Orda (1997, 1998), and also compiled bibliographic indexes on Kazakh folklore and folkloristics (2005, 2009). He is also the compiler of the 8th volume (2005), 11th volume (2017), 12th volume (2020) "Scientific description of Kazakh manuscripts", 26th volume of the multi-volume "Classical Studies" (2014), 2 volumes "Suyunbai Aronuli. Research" (2015) and the answer. editor and compiler of the academic complete works of Zhambyl (2021), Akhmet (2022), Magzhan (2023). Since the 2014-2015 academic year, Zh. Rakysh has been lecturing undergraduates and doctoral students at the Center for Postgraduate Education "Gylym Ordasy". Zhumashay Sailaukyzy's scientific works on Kazakh folklore and textual studies have been published in Kazakhstan and foreign publications.
