Laura Madibekovna Aliyarova is a teacher with over 36 years of experience in teaching German and English. She graduated from the Almaty Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages in 1988, earning a degree as a teacher of German and English. Her teaching career began in 1989 at the Polytechnic Institute named after Lenin, where she worked in the Chair of Foreign Languages until 1992. She then continued her work at Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University (KazNPU) , teaching in the Department of Foreign Languages from 1992 to 2012. Since 2013, Laura Aliyarova has been working as a senior teacher at the Department of Foreign Languages at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Over the years, she has gained significant experience in the scientific and pedagogical fields. Laura Aliyarova is committed to improving her skills. In 1996, she completed an intensive course at the Herder-Institute and Leipzig University, Germany. She also participates regularly in international seminars to stay updated with new teaching methods. She is the author of SPOC (Small Private Online Course) “English for Master’s Students in History”, three methodological manuals, and over 50 scientific and methodological articles.In 2023–2024, she completed an internship at the University of California, San Diego, as part of the Bolashak international scholarship program. During her time in the United States, she engaged with innovative educational practices, attended specialized training programs, and conducted research on effective language teaching methodologies.
