Autobiography
In 1992-1997, Makharova Gaukhar Sabyrzhanovna graduated from the English language department of the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Ablai Khan, specializing in "Teacher of English and Russian languages". Total teaching experience - 27 years. In 2016, she completed her Master's degree at the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, specializing in «Translation Studies», and received a Master of Humanities degree. From 2019 to 2022, she completed her doctoral studies at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of the same university, specializing in "Pedagogy without subject specialization," which highlights her deep knowledge in the field of education and her dedication to scientific research. Makharova G. S. began her career in 1997 in the city of Almaty at school-gymnasium No. 141 as an English teacher. In 1999- 2007, she worked as an English teacher at Almaty Kazakh Pedagogical College No. 1, and in 2007-2009 at the Kazakh National Technical Research University named after K.I. Satpaeva. Since 2009, she has been working as a senior lecturer at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the faculties of Mechanics and Mathematics, Physics and Engineering, Information Technology and Law. During her pedagogical activity, as part of her scientific-methodological and research work, Makhrova G. S. has published more than 40 articles. Among them, 3 articles are published in Web of Science journals with impact factors, included in the Scopus database, 16 articles in journals approved by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and 2 textbooks. To enhance professional qualifications, she completed an internship at Columbia University in New York (USA) in 2012, at the University of Perpignan (France) in 2015, at Heidelberg University (Germany) in 2019, and at Gazi University in Ankara (Turkey) in 2022.
