Autobiography

My name is Utegenova Kamilya Chingizkyzy. I was born on September 19, 1994, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 2012, I graduated from Republican Physics and Mathematics School named after O. Zhautykov. I then entered Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, majoring in simultaneous interpreting at the Faculty of Philology and Translation. I completed my master’s degree at the same university in 2018. Since October 2018, I have been working as an English teacher at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During this time, I have published 15 academic articles, including: • “Description of emotional vocabulary in political discourse and its translation”, 2023; “Ағылшын тілінен қазақ тіліне БҰҰ ілеспе мәтіндерін аудару барысында эмотивтілікті білдірудің лексикалық бірліктері”, 2023; “Modern methods of teaching a foreign language”, 2023 (published in the Bulletin of Abai KazNPU). I am also the author of the SCOPUS article: • “New Art Therapy Technology – Quilling” (Harmonia: Journal of Arts Research and Education, December 2023); I am a dedicated head teacher at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a passion for education and languages. Over the years, I have achieved significant milestones in my career, including obtaining my TOEFL certificate and other language proficiency certifications. With a master's degree in my field, I have always sought opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills.
