Autobiography

Kuralova Altynkyz Toktarkyzy was born in 1983 in Kyzylkum village, Zhetisay district, Turkestan region. From 1989 to 2000 she studied at the Secondary School No. 31 named after Y. Esenbekov and graduated with honours in 2000. In 2004, she graduated with honours from the Faculty of Philology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specialising in "0212 - Kazakh Language and Literature", and obtained a Bachelor's degree and qualifications as a philologist and teacher of Kazakh language and literature. In 2006, she completed her Master's studies at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specialising in "6N0205 - Philology", graduating with honours and obtaining a Master's degree in Philology. From 2006 to 2007 she worked as a lecturer at the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature at the Central Asian University in Almaty. From 2007 to 2009 she worked as a senior specialist in the Career Office for Student Affairs at the Kazakh-British Technical University. From 2009 to 2011, she worked as the Chief Specialist in the Academic Affairs Sector of the Educational and Methodological Centre of the Kazakh-British Technical University. From September 2015 to February 2016, she worked as a senior laboratory assistant in the Department of Professional Languages at the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. From 2016 to 2018 she pursued a second higher education degree at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specialising in "5B011900 - Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages". During the academic year 2016-2017 she worked as a specialist in the Department of General Linguistics and European Languages at the Faculty of Philology and World Languages of Al- Farabi Kazakh National University. From 2017 to 2020 she studied for a doctoral degree in the specialty "6D021300 - Linguistics". From 2019 to 2021 she worked as a lecturer at the Department of General Linguistics and European Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. From 2020 to 2022 she worked as an English teacher at Secondary School No. 142 in the Turksib district of Almaty. From September 1, 2022 A.T. Kuralova has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of Philology. Since September 1, 2024 she has been a senior lecturer in the Department of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
