I am DIANA DZHUMABAYEVNA TEKTIBAYEVA, PhD, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of Philological Faculty. Born on October 7, 1987 in the city of Alma-Ata. The main profile – is the field of education, in particular the field of foreign language education – teaching foreign languages, pedagogy and psychology. A dissertation on the theme “Students’ self-development in a multicultural environment” was defended in 2017, with the conference of the Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) (order No. 93 of January 23, 2018). In 2018– 2020, received a second higher education in the specialty “5B010300 – Jurisprudence” (al- Farabi KazNU). The employment history with teaching experience and experience in the specialty is 16 years – and began in 2008 at the Abilaykhan KazUI&RL in the positions of teacher of the department of FLE methodology, and at the same time deputy dean of the pedagogical faculty for educational work, in 2015-2016 – was the head of innovative educational center, and in 2019-2022 was the head of the department of Theory and Practice of Intercultural Communication of pedagogical faculty. From September 2022 – work as a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages, of Philological Faculty, al-Farabi KazNU. As of the current moment, have more than 15 scientific publications, including 3 articles in the Scopus database, 1 article in the Thomson Reuters database, 1 article in the RSCI, UlrichsWeb, and Index Copernicus databases; co-author of two collective monographs – “Система образования ведущих стран мира” (in Russian) under scientific ed. of Doc. of Ped. Sci., prof. A.K. Kusainov and “Teaching Foreign Languages in the Kazakhstani Contemporary Educational Paradigm” (in English) under scientific ed. of Doc. of Philology, Prof. B.U. Dzholdasbekova, as well as co-author of several educational and methodological manuals – “Methods and techniques of foreign language education: senior stage of secondary school”, “English for Specific Purposes. Chemistry", "Renewed content of foreign language educational program at the basic stage of secondary school" (all in English). Further publications of monographs and international scientific articles are planned. Over the years, took part in events of various international organizations and accomplished assignments of the Ministry of Education and Science. In particular, took part in the Sixty-third session of the UN ESCAP Commission on the topic “Strengthening the potential of Central Asia”.
