Svetlana Maratovna Temesheva was born on February 2, 1977, in Guryev (now Atyrau). Education: From 1984 to 1994, she received her secondary education at Secondary School No. 50 in Emba, Mugadzhar district, Aktobe region, graduating with honors. From 1995 to 1999, she studied at the K. Zhubanov Aktobe State University, majoring in "Mathematics and Informatics." Early Career: In September 1999, she joined the Department of Mathematical Analysis within the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at K. Zhubanov Aktobe State University as a Lecturer. In December of the same year, she enrolled in part-time postgraduate studies (aspirantura) at the same university, specializing in 01.01.02 – Differential Equations and Equations of Mathematical Physics. From October 2004, she served as a Senior Lecturer in the same department. Candidate of Sciences: On December 15, 2004, she successfully defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences on the topic: "The Parameterization Method for Solving Nonlinear Two-Point Boundary Value Problems for Ordinary Differential Equations." The degree was officially conferred on April 19, 2005. Academic Progression: Between September 2007 – August 2009 and September 2011 – August 2012, she worked at the Department of Higher Mathematics of the Almaty Institute (since 2011, University) of Power Engineering and Telecommunications, first as a Senior Lecturer and later as an Associate Professor. Research Activities: From January 2004 to August 2009, she worked part-time at the Laboratory of Differential Equations of the Institute of Mathematics under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MES RK). In September 2009, she joined the laboratory as a full-time staff member in the position of Leading Researcher. Doctor of Sciences: On November 29, 2010, at a meeting of the Dissertation Council D53.04.01 of the Institute of Mathematics (MES RK), she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: "The Parameterization Method for the Study and Solution of Nonlinear Boundary Value Problems." She was awarded the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences on October 27, 2011. Scientific Contribution: Her research work is dedicated to the study of nonlinear boundary value problems for differential equations. She has authored more than 70 scientific publications.
