Autobiography

I am, Kalbirova Tolkyn Nyshanbekovna, was born on December 7, 1970 in the village of Kazygurt, Kazygurt District, South Kazakhstan Region. In 1979 I went to V.I. Lenin secondary school, which I successfully graduated in 1989. Since 1989 I studied at Almaty Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages at the Faculty of French languages, that I graduated it in 1994 and received a full higher education. In 1994, after graduating from the university, I entered the Higher Pedagogical Courses (MIC) at KazUIR & WL, and in 1995 received a diploma in the specialty of French language teacher in higher educational institutions. From 1995 to 2008 I worked at the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation of Romance-Germanic Languages, KazUIR & WL as a teacher of French language. From 2004 to 2006 I participated in a three-year international project on “Translation Technique”, which was held in Tashkent (2004, 2005, 2006), Bishkek (2005), Almaty (2005) and Strasbourg (2005), organized by the French Embassy in Uzbekistan and RK. From 2008 to 2015 I worked as a senior teacher at the department of foreign languages, in KazNTU. K. Satpayev. In December 2005 and July 2010, I completed pedagogical training in the cities of Strasbourg and Perpignan (France). Received certificates of attendance. In 2011 I entered the magistracy in the specialty “Foreign language: two foreign languages” and in 2013 defended master's thesis on the topic “Gender stereotypes in proverbs and sayings of the Kazakh and French languages”. I have been awarded the degree of master of pedagogical sciences. From 2017 to 2018, I worked at the International Lyceum of Kazakhstan-Turkey as deputy director for educational and methodological work. In 2018 I entered the doctoral studies in the specialty "Linguistics" at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Every year I improve my pedagogical skills by participating in various training seminars organized by the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan, the Teachers Association of Almaty and the French Alliance, and I have numerous certificates of international standard. I was repeatedly awarded diplomas for the active participation of students in various events, contests and competitions in French language on city and republican scale. I was a member of the appeals commission during complex testing, KazNTU. K. Satpayev, in 2014 and 2015.
