Tugelbayev Sanat Sayakhmetovich was born on March 22, 1967 in Semipalatinsk region. In 1992 he graduated from the Geographical Faculty of KazGU with a degree in physical geography. Since 1993, he has been working at the Department of Physical Geography as an assistant and then as a senior lecturer. From 2008 to 2011 he was the head of the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology. During his time at the faculty, S.S.Tugelbayev has established himself as a highly qualified teacher. The experience of his scientific and pedagogical work is 19 years. PhD thesis on the topic: "Geoecological problems of radionuclide pollution of landscapes of the eastern part of the Kazakh small–scale forest" was defended at the dissertation Council of KazNU in 2007, specialty 25.00.36 - geoecology. S.S.Tugelbayev successfully combines educational and methodological work with research activities. Currently, he works as a deputy dean for academic and educational work. S.S.Tugelbayev is a sociable, disciplined and initiative person among colleagues and students, they are respected.
