Ametov A. Born in 1943, Kazakh, union member. In
1967 he graduated from the Faculty of Biology of
the Kazakh State University. S.M.Kirov. From 1968
to 1971 was a graduate student of KazSU. In 1974,
he successfully defended his thesis on the topic
“Ecomorphosis of the root system of plants in
natural phytocenoses of the flat part of the
Almaty and Taldykorgan regions” in the specialty
03.00.05 - Botany.
While studying in graduate school, and then
working as a junior researcher, he constantly led
research expeditions, traveled extensively in the
provinces of Kazakhstan, studying the root system
of plants, both in conditions of natural growth
and in culture. At the same time, Ametov A. was
engaged in studying the flora of the Republic of
Kazakhstan. All this gave him the opportunity to
become equally familiar with both the mountain and
desert flora of Kazakhstan.
Ametov A. on pedagogical work since 1981,
initially was an assistant, senior lecturer,
associate professor, and currently serves as
professor in the department of biodiversity and
biological resources. Over the years he has
mastered the methods of teaching well and has
become one of the leading teachers of the
department. He is currently lecturing on general
courses “Botany” for the specialty “Biology” in
undergraduate studies. In addition, A. Ametov
reads special courses "Vegetation of Arid
Regions", "Plant Geography", "Basics of Meadow
Studies", "Useful Plants of Kazakhstan", "Rare,
endemic and relict plants of Kazakhstan and their
protection", "Briology", "Preservation of
biological diversity and rational use of
vegetation cover for undergraduates of 1, 2 kusros
in the specialty 0M061300-Geobotanika, Vegetation
of deserts and steppes and their protection
etsialnosti «6D061300-Geobotany". In addition, he
annually leaves for field training with a student
of 1-2 courses. He is the supervisor of
coursework, final works and master's theses.
He has published 90 scientific papers, including
one monograph, two textbooks "Botany" and
"Systematics of higher plants. Part 1. Archegonial
plants "," Practical work on the systematics of
inzzhe plants "in collaboration with
OAAbdrakhmanov, AOAbdrakhmanova for university
students in the Kazakh language.," 500 tests on
the systematics of higher plants "in collaboration
with P. M.Myrzakulovym and S.G.Nesterova. In 2009,
Ametov A. co-authored with E.O. Ochkur wrote a
test textbook for 6 and 7 grades of a 12-year
