Autobiography

I, Gulnar Bolatovna Kegenova, was born in 1978 in Shelek district, Almaty region.In 1986- 1996, I graduated with honors from the 11-year Koram secondary school in Koram rural district, Shelek district. From 1996 to 2001, I graduated from the Kazakh state Agrarian University with a 5-year higher educational institution with honors, majoring in "Zootechnics, animal husbandry manager". In 2002, I graduated with honors from this university with a master's degree in the specialty "technology of production of livestock products" in the specialty" fish selection and technology of production of fisheries products". In 2002-2003, I worked as a trainee researcher in the field of "new forms of fish farming" at the Kazakh National Agrarian University at the Department of "private animal husbandry and breeding". In 2003-2004, I was hired as an assistant at this department and taught students. Since September 2004, I have been working as a full-time teacher at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Department of Zoology and ichthyology of the Faculty of Biology. From 2013 to 2020, I held the position of deputy head of the Department for educational, methodological and educational work as an additional job. 2020-2023 I entered the Al – Farabi Kazakh National University for doctoral studies in the educational program "8d08401-Fisheries and industrial fishing", defended my dissertation on December 10, 2024 and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). In 2023-2024, I worked as the head of the Department of biodiversity and Bioresources. In 2024-2025, I worked as a senior teacher of this department In the 2025-2026 academic year, I was hired as the head of the newly created Department of Zoology, histology and cytology. Currently, I am a coordinator of educational programs in Bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs in the specialty" 6b08402 – aquaculture and aquatic biological resources". I am a member of the Republican educational and methodological Council in the specialty "Fisheries". I am an active participant in scientific and methodological conferences organized at the university, as well as international scientific conferences held outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the moment, the senior teacher is G. B. More than 50 scientific and methodological articles and theses of kegenova, 5 teaching aids are published in an open publishing house.
