Autobiography
In 1995 she graduated with honors from the medical faculty of the ASMI. She studied at the clinical residency, graduate school at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Almaty State Institute of Advanced Medical Studies. In 1999 she defended her thesis on "Improving the diagnosis and treatment of urogenital chlamydia in women". In 2009 she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Clinical and immunological aspects of chronic inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs and differential immunotherapy”. Since 2002 she worked as an assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Kazakhstan Medical University. Since 2004 she worked as a senior researcher, Scientific Secretary, leading researcher at the Scientific Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology. Her scientific activity is devoted to the problems of immunodiagnostics, the peculiarities of cellular interactions of immunocompetent cells at the systemic and local levels at various pathological conditions in obstetrics and gynecology, and the development of principles of immunomodulating therapy. Under her leadership 2 PhD- theses have been defended. Kurmanova A.M. has specializations in laser therapy, gynecological oncology and endocrinology. She is a full member of the International Academy of Informatization. She has 160 publications, including 9 articles in Web of Science, 6 in Scopus, 3 monographs.
