Natalia Aleksandrovna Tovma, PhD in Economics and Management Theory, Candidate of Sciences (Econ.), Associate Professor in the research area 50200 - Economics and Business (2025), Recipient of the title "Best University Teacher 2023," Academician of the International Academy of Informatization (2014). Hirsch index - 8. Publications in the Scopus database - 33. Born in Almaty, she graduated from Gymnasium No. 25. In 1999, she entered Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where she completed three levels of study with honors and graduated with three diplomas with honors: a bachelor's degree in accounting and auditing (2003), a master's degree in marketing (2005), and a doctorate in management (2008). Postgraduate program in accounting, auditing, and statistics (T. Ryskulov KazEU). She has 20 years of teaching and research experience at Al-Farabi KazNU. Currently, she is the Deputy Head of the Business Technology Department for Research, Innovation, and International Relations and an Associate Professor. Her research interests include digital economy, knowledge economy, territorial marketing, and urban development. She managed two GF projects and one PCF program on the topic: BR18574200 "Revival of Single-Industry Cities in the Context of Creating a New Kazakhstan Based on Territorial Marketing" (2022-2024). She was the project manager for the GF project for young scientists on the topic: AP09057847 "Formation and Development of the Knowledge Economy in the Context of Digitalization in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Conceptual Foundations and Implementation Prospects" (2021-2023) and the GF project on the topic: AP05135078 "Formation and Development of the Digital Economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Theory and Practical Implementation Measures" (2018-2020). She supervised one doctoral student, who was awarded a PhD degree. She is the head of one startup, "Digital Recipe Book for Healthy Eating."
