In 1980 graduated from the philological faculty of KazNU named after S. M. Kirov, specialising in the Russian language and literature". In 1992 graduated from the graduate school of the Moscow Russian language Institute A. S. Pushkin on a speciality "Methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language". In 2001 she defended the thesis on "Training of foreign students in listening comprehension of the Russian language in educational and professional sphere of communication", obtaining the degree of candidate of pedagogical Sciences. Associate Professor. From 1983 to 2007 worked in KazNMU im. S. D. Asfendiyarov at the Department of language training, taught Russian language to foreign students of the preparatory Department and basic courses. More than 10 years was Deputy Dean of the faculty of foreign students of KazNMU. Yakubaeva K. S. works in KazNU. al-Farabi at the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens since 2006, at the faculty of pre-University education teaches foreign students courses: "Practical Russian language", "Language adaptation", "Language specialty", "Scientific style of speech".
