Autobiography

Dauliyeva Galiya Rakhmetovna, born in 1972, Kazakh by nationality. In 1990, she entered the Faculty of Philosophy and Economics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and graduated with honors in 1995 with a degree in Economic Theory. She began her teaching career in 1995 as an assistant at the Department of Economic Theory of the university. In 2003, she defended her Candidate of Sciences dissertation titled “Reproduction Model of the Educational Services Market: Development Factors.” In 2008, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in Economics, and in 2025 — the academic title of Professor in the scientific field 50200 – Economics and Business. Since 2021, she has been the Head of the Department of Economics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Her academic and teaching experience at Al-Farabi KazNU totals 30 years. Throughout her teaching and research career, Dauliyeva G.R. has published over 100 scientific and educational-methodological works, including 1 textbook, 9 study guides, 8 methodological manuals, 5 collective and 1 individual monograph. She is the author of the online course “Public Finance” on the OpenU.kz platform, developed within the framework of the projects “New Humanitarian Knowledge: 100 New Textbooks in the Kazakh Language” and the MOOC “Entrepreneurship” (OpenKazNU). According to the Web of Science (Core Collection), her Hirsch index is 1, with 4 cited works. According to Scopus, her Hirsch index is 3, with 11 cited publications. She is the Principal Investigator of the grant project AP23489032 GF for 2024–2026. She completed international scientific internships at the University of Padua (Italy, 2023), Ege University (Izmir, Turkey, 2024), and the University of Tsukuba (Japan, 2025). She completed several professional development courses at international and national levels, including on the Coursera platform: “Cyber Pedagogue” certificate from the Belgian Education Council (6 certificates, 18.02.2021–01.04.2021); “Econometric Modeling of Socio-Economic Processes,” Professional Development Institute of Al-Farabi KazNU (72 hours), March 1–15, 2021; “Theory and Practice of Creating Online Courses,” Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Coursera, 19.02.2021; “Business Analysis & Process Management,” Coursera Project Network, 24.02.2023.
