Askhar Leskhan Amirkhanuly is a Candidate of Philosophical Sciences who graduated from the Philosophy department of S.M. Kirov KazGU in 1983. He began his teaching career at the Almaty Architecture and Construction Institute (1983–1987). From 1987 to 1990, he completed his postgraduate studies in Philosophy at Lomonosov Moscow State University, where he successfully defended his Candidate's dissertation. Since January 1992, he has served as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science at Al-Farabi KazNU. He further enhanced his qualifications at Istanbul University (Turkey) in 1992–1993. His research interests are broad, encompassing Logic, Turkic Culture and Philosophy, Kazakh Philosophy, History and Philosophy of Science, and Critical Thinking. L.A. Askhar is the author of over 100 scientific articles, textbooks, and monographs. He teaches courses in Kazakh Philosophy, Logic, and History of Science to undergraduate and graduate students, proving himself to be an exemplary teacher known for his diligence, profound knowledge, and fair assessment. Furthermore, he actively participates in public activities and has led the "Kishi Farabi" Academy (Small Farabi Academy) since its establishment in 1992 to improve student qualifications. He is respected by colleagues and students as a responsible and valued member of the university community.
