Autobiography

Aliya Temirlanovna Nigmetova graduated from S.M. Kirov KazGU with a degree in "Philosophy" in 1990, beginning her professional career in the same year as a Philosophy Lecturer at ZKSKHI. Since January 1, 2000, she has been working at the Department of Philosophy at Al-Farabi KazNU. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1996 and defended her Candidate's dissertation in 2010 (specialty 09.00.03). Throughout her tenure, she has developed and taught several specialized courses, including "Philosophy and History of Science," "Philosophy of Music and Theatre," and "The Socio-Political Relevance of the Philosophy of M.K. Mamardashvili." She is the author of 7 textbooks, among which are "Philosophy of Thought," "Religious Studies," and "Philosophy in English." She has one international publication indexed in SCOPUS: The Phenomenon of Thought in the Philosophy of M.K. Mamardashvili (2018). She is responsible for the work of the Philosophy Department Alumni Association. She has proven herself to be a valuable employee and commands authority among both colleagues and students.
