Autobiography

Kissan Arshynbek, senior lecturer in Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology and Computer Physics, received bachelor’s degree in specialty «050110-Physics» in 2012, and master’s degree in specialty «6М060400-Physics» of Physics faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 2014. Since then he has been working in this department as an assistant, teacher and senior lecturer, as well as an adviser. Conducts laboratory and seminar classes in the following disciplines: «Electricity and magnetism», «Theoretical Foundation of Electrical Engineerig », «Physics and mathematics of electrical engineering», «Computer Simulation of Physical Processes», «Methods for solving of school physical problems on school course» and «Scientific writing». Co-author of one teaching aids in Kazakh language, winner of the faculty of physics and technology in competition «Smart Эдвайзер-2015». In addition to educational work, he has an interest in scientific work. Since 2010, he has been working at the Scientific Research Institute of Experimental and Theoretical Physics and the National Nanotechnology Open Laboratory for research projects as a laboratory assistant, engineer, and junior researcher. He completed international internships in 2014 at the University of Arizona, USA and in 2016 at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Moscow, Russia. The field of scientific research is electrodynamics of plasma, metamaterials and topological insulators, modeling of physical processes. In 2014, he received scholarship of the Academician Fazylkhan Baimbetov Fund. He has more than 20 publications, as well as reports at international conferences and articles in foreign journals with non-zero impact factor.
