Autobiography

Zhangali Moldabekov received his education at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al- Farabi Kazakh National University, specializing in "Physics and Astronomy" (bachelor’s and master’s degrees), and "Nuclear Physics" (doctoral studies). He is currently working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology, and Computer Physics at the same faculty. Moldabekov Zh.M. has thoroughly mastered the methods of applying modern technologies in the educational process and consistently implements them in his lectures, seminars, and laboratory classes. Moreover, he effectively utilizes his pedagogical skills to present demonstrative visual materials at a high level during seminars. He teaches students to apply the knowledge gained in the subject to their future professional activities and in solving research-related problems. In addition, Zhangali Moldabekov actively participates in scientific research in the plasma accelerator laboratory. His main scientific work focuses on identifying the parameters affecting the neutron generation mechanism in plasma focus thermonuclear reactors and determining material erosion using nuclear-physical diagnostic methods. He has published over 40 scientific papers in international and national scientific journals and conferences, and has authored 5 educational and methodological manuals. From 2022 to 2024, he served as the principal investigator of the research project AP15473243 titled "Application of Focused Pulsed Plasma Flows for Surface Modification of Materials," funded under the "Zhas Galym" grant program for young scientists.
