Autobiography

Askar Davletov, born in 1974, is a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. He took his bachelor degree in 1996 and master degree in 1998 both with honors at the Department of Physics on the specialixzation "Physics and Chemistry of Plasmas". In the same year he entered graduate school at the Chair of Optics and Plasma Physics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the specialization "Plasma Physics". Askar Davletov has been working as a researcher at the Institute of Experimental and Theoretical Physics of KazNU since 1993, having passed all the positions from the research assistant to the chief scientific officer and the head of research grants funded by the Ministry of Education and Sciences. In 2001 he defended his thesis on the research topic "Thermodynamic properties of semiclassical two-component plasmas" with the specialization 01.04.08-Plasma Physics. In 2009 he defended his doctoral thesis on the research topic "The pseudopotential theory of static and dynamic properties of plasmas" with the specialization 04.01.08-Plasma Physics. Askar Davletov is an expert in the physics of strongly coupled plasmas and one of the most cited scientists, he has over 100 scientific publications, including over 20 in international peer reviewed journals with high impact factors. He was a three-fold winner of the state grant of the Ministry of Education and |Sciences for talented young researchers and was recognized the best lecturer of the KazNU in 2009. Askar Davletov actively teach in English at the Physical Technical Department and supports seminars and laboratory classes on general courses such as "Electricity and Magnetism", "Fundamentals of nuclear physics", as well as lectures on the courses: "Atomic Physics", "Fundamentals of Plasma Physics", "Electricity and Magnetism," and others. From 2005 to 2008 he was a deputy of the head of the chair of optics and plasma physics. Since 2009, Askar Davletov is a supervisor of the school team of Kazakhstan for participation in International Physics Olympiads. He is also a jury member of National and International Competitions in Physics, and is an organizing committee member of several international conferences.
