Autobiography

Dulaeva Elnara Zilpikarovna is a Kazakh scholar and educator, Candidate of Philological Sciences, and currently serves at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, in the Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries, acting as Head of the Department. Her research focuses on linguocultural studies, speech etiquette, forms of greetings and farewells in Turkish and Arabic, as well as the development of linguocultural competence in foreign language education. She actively publishes in internationally peer-reviewed journals as well as in educational and methodological publications. Key international publications: Conceptual aspects of cognitive linguacultural methodology of foreign language education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Journal of Language and Literature, 2016. Development of foreign language professionally discursive competence of future diplomats, International Journal of Society, Culture and Language, 2021. Linguistic and cultural peculiarities of Turkish and Arabic speech etiquette in farewells and greetings, Semiotica, 2023. In addition, Elnara Zilpikarovna is the author of educational and methodological works on speech etiquette, national and cultural traditions, features of greeting and farewell formulas, and the development of students’ linguocultural competence. She actively participates in international academic events and contributes to the development of cooperation with foreign universities, promoting the integration of Kazakh linguistic scholarship into the global academic community.
