Gulzhan Ilyassova, born in 1991, is of Kazakh nationality. In 2009, she graduated from D.
Kunayev Secondary School. In the same year, she was admitted to the Faculty of Physics and
Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in
2013.
In 2015, she received a Master’s degree in Physics from the Faculty of Physics and Technology
of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
In 2024, she was admitted to the doctoral program at the Department of Thermal Physics and
Technical Physics under the educational program “Thermal Power Engineering”.
From 2015 to 2024, she worked as a lecturer at S. D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical
University, where she taught the courses Physics and Biophysics within the Biophysics
program.
Since September 2025, she has been working at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-
Farabi Kazakh National University. Her total professional experience amounts to 10 years.
Her research interests focus on improving energy efficiency and optimizing heat transfer
processes. She continuously enhances her scientific expertise.
During the 2025 academic year, she conducted laboratory classes for first-, third-, and
fourth-year students in the courses Mechanics, Methods for Calculating Aerohydrodynamic
Devices, and Fundamentals of Cryogenic Engineering. She also serves as an academic advisor
and curator for students majoring in Thermal Physics.
She actively participates in the public and academic life of the faculty and is highly
respected by both students and colleagues. Gulzhan Ospanbekovna is distinguished by her high
sense of responsibility and accuracy, demonstrates a conscientious approach to her
professional duties, and possesses strong potential for self-development. She has a
proficient command of Kazakh, Russian, and English languages.
