Autobiography

Pen’kov Fedor Mikhailovich, born in 1956, Russian, citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, graduated from the Special Faculty of MEPhI in 1979 with the qualification of "engineer-physicist" in the specialty "theoretical nuclear physics". From 1979 to 1982 he studied in the graduate school of MEPhI based on the Department of Theoretical Physics named after I.E. Tamm of the Lebedev Physical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences (PhIAS). The degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences in the specialty theoretical and mathematical physics was defended in the dissertation council of (PhIAS) in 1984. From 1983 to 1988 he held the positions of junior and then senior research fellow in the Sector of Problem Research of the Ukrainian Institute of Cattle Breeding. From 1988 to 1995, he held the positions of a researcher and senior researcher at the Laboratory of Theoretical Nuclear Physics (LTNP) of the Institute of Nuclear Physics (INP) of the USSR Academy of Sciences. From 1995 to 2004, he held the positions of a senior and leading researcher at the N.N. Bogolyubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna. In 2002, he defended his doctoral dissertation there in the specialty "theoretical physics". From 2004 to 2009, he held the position of leading and chief researcher at the LTNP INP. From 2009 to 2014, he held the position of scientific director of the Accelerator Technologies Department. From 2014 to 2019, he held the position of head of the LTNP. In 2019, F.M. Pen’kov was awarded the academic title of "Professor" in the specialty "Physics". From 2019 to the present, F.M. Pen’kov holds the position of professor at the Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Scholar.google finds more than 200 scientific publications by F.M. Pen’kov, of which 84 are in the SCOPUS database. The SCOPUS h-index is 12. He was the head of four successfully completed grant projects of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Teaching experience.
