Autobiography

Graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with degrees in Social Work (Bachelor’s) and Sociology (Doctorate). Recipient of the Bolashak International Program Scholarship of Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2012, she has been developing her academic career at the university, holding positions from assistant to associate professor. In 2018, she defended her doctoral dissertation in Sociology. In 2023, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in Sociology. She is the author of over 200 publications, including articles in international journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. H-index - 3. She supervises Master’s and Doctoral dissertations. She serves as principal investigator and team member on research grants funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Her research interests include youth migration attitudes, international educational migration, the sociology of education and science, educational and career choices of young people, and applied research.
