Demchenko Alena Sergeevna, PhD, born in 1988, is Russian and has a higher education. In 2010, she graduated with honors from the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specializing in Russian Language and Literature. In 2012, she successfully defended her master’s thesis on the topic "Architectonics of V. P'etsukh's Prose" and earned a master's degree in Russian Philology. In 2014, she entered the PhD program in Russian Language and Literature, completed a scientific internship at Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest, Hungary), and in 2019, defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic "The 'House' Archetype in the Prose of Russian-Speaking Writers of Kazakhstan: Theoretical and Methodological Aspects of the Research."Since 2012, I have been working at the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Faculty of Philology, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. My research interests focus on Russian literature in Kazakhstan. I have published over 100 scientific, methodological, and review articles, including in international journals indexed by the SCOPUS database, publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in collections from international conferences. I am also a co-author of textbooks, methodological guides, and anthologies on Russian literature for the 10th grade, as well as scientific collective monographs.
