Kudaiberdi Bagasharov was born on April 23, 1981, in the village of Makpal, Lugovoy District, Zhambyl Region. He is Kazakh. After graduating from the Altyn Belgi school in 1999, he studied for a bachelor's degree in International Relations at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from 1999 to 2004. From 2007 to 2009, he completed a master's degree in Religious Studies, and from 2011 to 2014, he completed a doctorate, earning a PhD. He began his career in 2004 at Altyn Kalam Publishing House and continued his career at Kokzhiek B Publishing House from 2008 to 2014. Since 2014, he has been working as a research and teaching staff member at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In 2022, he worked at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and from 2023 to 2025, at SDU University. He is a professor at SDU University. Since 2025, Kudaiberdy Sabyrzhanuly has been an associate professor in the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies at Al- Farabi Kazakh National University. In addition to numerous scientific and methodological works, the scholar is the author of numerous research papers in the fields of religious studies, Islamic ethics, tolerance, and interfaith dialogue. In particular, the textbooks "Islamic Ethics (Morality)" (2018) and "Methodology for Interpreting Islamic Sources" (2020) were published, as well as the books "Faith and Truth" (2015) and "Interfaith Dialogue" (2014), "Philosophy" textbook (2025), "Religious Tolerance and Interreligious Dialogue" monograph (2025). His contribution to book culture was recognized in 2011 with a medal from the National Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He has published 40 articles in the National Library of Kazakhstan and six articles in journals included in the Scopus database. He is married and has three children.
