Autobiography

I, Zhamashev Azamat Shutbayevich, was born on April 25, 1985. In 2006, I graduated from Otyrar (Kazakh-Arab) University with a Bachelor’s degree in History. In 2009, I obtained a Master’s degree in Humanities in “Islamic Studies” from Selçuk University (Republic of Türkiye). In 2017, I defended my PhD dissertation in “Fundamental Islamic Sciences” at Istanbul University. In 2025, by the decision of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor (Docent) in the field of “Philosophy, Ethics, and Religion.” From 2009 to 2011, I worked as a lecturer at the Shymkent Madrasa in Shymkent city. From 2018 to 2024, I served as a senior lecturer at the Department of Islamic Studies at the Nur- Mubarak Egyptian University of Islamic Culture. Since 2018, I have been working at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, as a Senior Researcher and Scientific Project Leader in the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies. My research interests include Islamic Studies, Philosophy of Religion, and Cultural Studies. I have participated in several national and international research projects and authored over 40 scientific articles, monographs, and textbooks. My publications have appeared in reputable journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases.
