Zhanar Galifuldaevna Alchimbayeva entered the geography faculty of Al Farabi Kazakh National University in 1996, and in 2001 graduated from this educational institution with the assignment of the specialty "tourism manager with the right to teach geography and geography of tourism". From 2004 to 2006, she received her second higher education at the Almaty University of Humanities and Technology with the assignment of the specialty "economist". She began her career in August 2001 in the office of the Akim of Almaty region (gg. Almaty, Taldykorgan) in the tourism department as a chief specialist.In November 2003, by way of transfer, she was hired by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Tourism and Sports (Astana) as a chief specialist of the Department of Coordination and Licensing of Tourist Activities, and in April 2004 she was appointed chief specialist of the Department of International Relations. From 2004 to 2006, she worked in the Committee on Regulation of Trade and Tourism Activities of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana). From June 2006 to January 2009, she worked as the head of the Tourism Development Department of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industry of the Almaty region (Taldykorgan).In connection with the change in the structure of the Akimat of Almaty region in the period from January 2009 to May 2012, she worked as the head of the Tourism Development Department of the Department of Tourism, Physical Culture and Sports of Almaty region (Taldykorgan).From July to December 2013, she worked as a tourism manager in the tour operator company Arnai Tours LLP (Almaty). In September of the same year, she also began working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism of Al Farabi Kazakh National University in combination.In the period from December 2013 to July 2015, she worked as the head of the Tourism Development Department of the Tourism Department of Almaty. From July 2015 to October 2022, she worked as the head of the Tourism Department of the Almaty region (Taldykorgan, Konaev). In September 2022, she started working at Al Farabi Kazakh National University again as a part-time senior lecturer at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism.
