Autobiography

A.Artemyev was born in Ust-Kamenogorsk (1956). Since 1978 after graduation from university, he worked in the system Kazakh Academy of Sciences, defended the dissertation (candidate of technical sciences). 1992-1998 - in the civil service, in positions of deputy head of department / head of the tourism department of Almaty regional administration. Member of the Republican tourism licensing commission activities (1993-1998). Senior instructor on tourism (1997). 1998-2000 - Deputy General Director of the State Enterprise "Tourism and Recreation Areas" of Almaty region, general director of the travel agency "El- Turgen". 1999 - Associate Professor Kazakh-American University, senior lecturer (part-time) of the department tourism KazNU named after al-Farabi, since 2001 - Associate Professor of the Department, 2009-2020 - Head of the Department. 2004-2007 - full-time doctoral studies at KazNU in the specialty 25.00.24 - Economic, social and political geography. Author over 150 published works and inventions (h-index - 2), 12 scientific reports (including international projects). UNDP Expert. Best university lecturer - 2013. Honored tourism instructor of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2007).
