The sphere of scientific interests covers the issues of eolian morpholithogenesis of the deserts of the Southern Balkhash region in the conditions of desertification, the study of recreational resources of Kazakhstan, the features of the development of ecological tourism in desert conditions and the issues of updating the Kazakhstani tourist product.Has over 50 publications. She has experience in implementing grant projects - in 2004-2006 she was a co-executor of the project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan to create an environmental atlas of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Center for Geological and Geographical Research of the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2006, she approved the topic of her doctoral dissertation “Modern relief-forming processes of sandy deserts of Kazakhstan”, is a co-executor of the PFI R&D “Fundamental and applied research in the field of economic, social and human sciences” on the topic: “Comprehensive research of the tourist and recreational potential of the Alakol basin for development recreation and tourism".
